A popular Japanese TV programme featuring Japanese cultural ambassadors broadcasts Japanese Pancake World. Pokapoka Chikyuuu Kazoku introduced the Netherlands as the country with easy-bite delicacies such as harring, croquetts and cheese. ‘9-‘ says Johannes van Dam of het Parool
Japanese Pancake World Amsterdam receives a ‘9-‘ from leading Dutch food critic, Johannes van Dam. The celebrity gourmand from het Parool newspaper features two pancakes in his article: Dondon style Osaka and Negi-yaki de luxe. Our appetizers and desserts seem to have pleased him as well. His favorite appetizer, shoga-yaki, is described as ‘the marinated meat melting on the toungue” while he calls our green-tea milk shake and ice-cream wrapped in japanese style crêpe “heavenly”.
